If you have the following interests and qualifications, this could be the right fit for you!

This position will cover the area throughout, Salisbury, Bon Air, Stratford Hills, and Stony Point (23235, 23113, 23225). You will start as a backup and fill in, until you acquire clients to establish your base. Availability for more than one shift will assist you in building your client base. The typical day time full schedule ranges from 4-6 visits. Evening or morning would be 2-3 visits. During holidays and vacation seasons it could be up to 6-8 visits a day. Potential for more visits is possible if desired; however it is not the norm. Clients and times vary from day to day depending on client requests and needs. Requests for assistance as back up in other areas are possible.

MUST be available for weekends, holidays, and school breaks. Holiday visits include bonuses, and Sundays are paid at a higher rate. Tips are not guaranteed or required but repeated and exceptional service gets recognized!

This position is for:

1. A self employed person who is all about animals and their well being.

2. Reliable, responsible and experienced in customer service and with dogs and cats. Comfort with all types!

3. Looking for supplemental income. Income is totally dependent on the number of visits requested, scheduled and completed.

4. Comfortable with a changing schedule and varied hours per week.

5. Consistently available time frames (time frames available: 7-11am, 10-3pm, 1-6pm, 5-9pm, Overnights 9pm-7am), or consistently available for a varied schedule.

6. Reliable transportation and a backup in case of car troubles. Driving is required to care for pets in their homes (You might be able to deduct mileage from your income taxes!), and visits cannot be missed.
7. Enjoy variable schedules, ability to earn incentives for bringing on new clients and sitters

8. Live in or adjacent to zip codes 23113,23235,23225 (also 23112, 23114, 23236), or willing to drive to those zip codes.

9. 18 years of age or older

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $12.50 - $25.00 per hour
